Tangerine walnut Grilled Chicken on a bed of green lettuce

Pollo agridulce con mandarinas y nueces


  • 6oz chicken breasts
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 5 cups green leaf lettuce
  • 2 tangerines
  • ½ red onion chopped
  • ¼ cup walnuts toasted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/1/2 tablespoon pear vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper garlic and grill, until chicken is cooked through.

In a bowl, whisk honey, mustard, pear vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper until blended. In a bowl, combine lettuce, pear, red onion, and walnuts and toss with some of the dressing. Arrange sliced chicken over lettuce mixture and drizzle with additional dressing.
