To Fight Arthritis

Studies have shown that taking baking soda helps fight chronic inflammation by promoting a more balanced inflammatory response in the body. This is big news as inflammation is a major cause and contributor to arthritis pain.

Kidney Health

An influential study showed that In certain individuals with kidney troubles, specifically kidney disease, simply taking baking soda helped slow the progression of the disease and improved organ function. While this might not be big news if your kidneys are healthy and working well, it is certainly good news for those of us who might be struggling with kidney health.

Upset Stomach

Baking soda helps counteract the acid of an upset stomach, and can even help during heartburn. A good recipe from Dr. Juan is to take a liter of water, mix in a couple tablespoons of baking soda, and a splash of lemon. Sip your way to a calmer stomach!
