Citrus Pork chops Sweet Potato & Garlicky Green Beans

Chuleta de cerdo con toque agridulce


  • 6-ounce pork loin chops
  • 1 sweet potato cut ½
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1tablespoon olive oil
  • Green beans
  • 3 garlic gloves minced
  • 1 scallion minced
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese


Preheat oven to 350F

Heat in a skillet over medium high heat. Add pork chops and brown on each side, about 3-to 5 minutes.

Place pork chop and sweet potato sliced in a baking dish and top with orange slices. Bake for 30 minutes until pork chop and sweet potato is tender. In a separate pan, stir fry green beans in olive oil, garlic and scallions. Garnish with parmesan cheese.  Serve on the side.
