Garlic & ginger chicken with spinach

Pollo con Espinacas, Ajo y Jengibre


  • 6 oz chicken breast, cut in strips
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 small piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 chives, diced
  • 1 spoon of honey
  • 1 Santo Remedio turmeric capsule
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 spoons of rice wine
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil


Combine the rice wine, soy sauce and sesame oil in a bowl. Add the chicken strips and coat well. In a frying pan at medium-high heat, add the oil. Once hot, add the chicken saving the marinade for later. Sauté for about three minutes before adding the garlic, ginger and chives. At this point you can also add the remaining marinade and the honey. Stir everything and cook until the chicken is well done. Serve with steamed spinach. Will you be inviting us over?
