Tuna with steamed beans

Atún con habichuelas al vapor


  • 6 ounces tuna (fresh or frozen/canned in water)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • ½ cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 avocado
  • Salt and pepper


Brown the tuna in a large skillet over high heat, about 3 minutes per side. In a bowl, mix the lemon, cilantro, garlic, salt, pepper, turmeric and ginger. Place the tuna on a plate and put that dressing on top. Add slices of avocado and serve with steamed beans. Exquisite!
