California Burger Wraps

  • 6oz lean ground beef (90% lean)
  • 2 Bibb lettuce leaves
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp avocado mayonnaise
  • 1/2 medium ripe avocado, peeled and cut into 8 slices
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Combine beef, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into a patty.
Grill burger, covered, over medium heat or broil 3-4 in. Place burgers in lettuce leaves. Combine feta and avocado mayonnaise; spread over burgers. Top with avocado and red onion, and add another lettuce leaf as if it were a sandwich.
